One method, which isn't always the easiest, is to highlight obvious failures in leadership. While we generally like to remain on a more positive note to show and celebrate leadership victories, I would argue that we should also show the other side. What happens when we don't lead.
Might make for some interesting discussion at least, maybe an essay contest - everybody has a story to share on that front. Why not put it out there and have a prize for the most ridiculous story. Not only would it be fun, but would certainly highlight the catastrophic results that can happen when there is an obvious lack of visionary leadership...
I know, its my dark side coming out, don't give me too hard of a time, just trying to have some fun... MM
